Vanitha Saviya Padanama women’s wing of the Akram Foundation is registered under Co/D/S/00094 in the Divisional secretariat of Colombo as a Social Service Organization and it was founded for development, protection and welfare of women.

• 1. We are providing micro finance loans and promoting needy women to start a self-employment business’s enabling them to support their families.
• 2. We organize and conduct classes of teaching trades like bridal dressing and cookery. Women who successfully complete the course are offered micro finance loans to start their own business.
• 3. Providing Sewing Machines for needy ladies for self-employment
• 4. We are providing Interest Free Loan for their essential needs
• 5. We organize education, self-employment and counseling events for the women to enable them to be self-sufficient and educate their children to be better citizens.
