Colombo Youth Club

Colombo Youth Club is registered under Ministry of Sports-Western Provincial Council WP/CO/COL/204/I and registered under National Youth Council WP/COL 01/COL CENTRAL/116. Youth are the back bone of a country. By providing more opportunities to promote the born skills and merits they will be well fitted with physical health mental balance.
This is for the developing the educational, recreational and social programs that help to provide a better future for the youth of our nation and by holding workshops of school leavers and opening up of sports centers and sports societies for them and providing the necessary sports care and by referring them to pre-vocational subjects we have been able to prevent them from being drug addicts.

• Started Football and Cricket Teams in Colombo Youth Club and providing Jersys, Boots free of charge and help them to participate major tournaments in Sri Lanka as well as overseas.
• Leadership training & career guidance program.
• Help them advance in their educational and sports interests.
• Help in the development of youth clubs and sports clubs.
• Arranging employment opportunities.
• Organizing sports events and tournaments.

Colombo Youth Football Academy

Colombo Youth Football Academy (CYFA) is a Academy supervision of Colombo Youth Club registered under Football Federation of Sri Lanka FFSL/FA/19/0059 based in Colombo. CYFA continues its mission to identify underprivileged Children and guide them on a path to success and with a vision of these children to become a Professional football Players and good citizen.
We would like to write this for your kind consent and attention, that we the above said football academy started to guide the young learners who were in real thirst of playing football from Colombo surrounding.
We have well qualified and experienced AFC license coaches who are providing the learners with the right knowledge of AFC and FIFA recommended skills and techniques. We are providing such education for the learners without any fees and all the playing kits are provided for everyone free of charge, as we found these young talented are financially behind even to satisfy their daily needs. CYFA provided the training for all communities such as Buddhist, Muslims, Hindus and Christians from Greater Colombo area.
Football is one of the most popular sports in Sri Lanka. It is played every day by thousands of children most of whom have no support to develop their skills.
CYFA has identified this as a major disadvantage for Sri Lankan children and is committed to working with youth ages 8 and above years to identify pathways to success for every child.
CYFA currently has 350 players who are grouped into following age group categories:

All the players were provided with the Free Jersey and Free Boots. CYFA always ensure that the modern and advanced football coaching acquired by every child.
